We live in a world that moves quickly - where trends rise and fall overnight, and clothes are made to be discarded, not cherished. ALKU was born as an act of slowing down. To pause. To create garments that last beyond seasons and remind us of what really matters: simplicity, care, and connection to nature.

This is the heart of slow fashion - choosing quality over quantity, and timelessness over trends. Each ALKU piece is designed to be lived in, loved, and worn for years to come.

Designing with Intention

Every garment we create begins with a question: Does this honour the Earth and the wearer?

That is why we chose linen. One of the oldest and most sustainable fabrics in the world, it is strong yet soft, breathable yet grounding, and the best part - it is fully biodegradable. Linen is a fabric that grows better with time - just like us.

When design calls for elements like elastic, we do so mindfully. Always replaceable, never permanent. Because clothing should never be disposable.

Sustainability in Practice

Our vision is not about perfection, but about progress. With every step, we ask: How can this be better?

- Materials: 100% linen, with thoughtful trims when necessary.
- Packaging: Recyclable or compostable cardboard boxes, sealed with natural sisal twine and compostable stickers. Orders are shipped in home-compostable mailers with compostable shipping labels. Nothing left behind but beauty.
- Design: Timeless silhouettes created to transcend seasons and trends.

Growing Forward
